The Medway Village Food Pantry is 100% run by volunteers and we absolutely could not deliver these services without each and every one of them. See volunteer opportunities below and contact us if you would like to join us!
Unload Truck
We receive deliveries from the Greater Boston Food Bank via Loaves & Fishes on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. We always need volunteers to help unload the pallets and restock the pantry. This typically takes about an hour. The truck arrives around 2:45 p.m.
Restock Pantry
We restock the pantry on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. We always needs extra hands!
Friday Afternoon Set Up
We setup the Food Pantry after the preschool has left for the week. There are two shifts:

1:00-2:00 p.m. - Sorting and prepping the bread and produce.
​
3:00-4:00 p.m. - Sorting frozen meat, stocking toiletries, and cleaning products and prepping the coolers. * There are a lot of stairs involved with the second shift.
​
Teenagers with their own transportation can sign up for the second shift.
